Amplifier Service and Repair.
We service and repair a wide range of amplifiers: typical consumer amplifiers, Hi-Fi amplifiers and professional amplifiers. This includes pre-amps, power amps, integrated amps, receivers, and headphone amps. We service & repair both solid state and valve amplifiers.
Brands that we have worked on include: AKAI, Bang & Olufsen (B&O), Denon, Hitachi, Kenwood, Linear Design, Luxman, Marantz, NAD, Pioneer, QUEST, Realistic, Rotel, Sansui, Sony, TEAC, Technics and Yamaha.
Our amplifier service includes:
- Inspection
- Repair of main fault/s
- Dust out/clean
- Switch & potentiometer contact clean
- Input and output sockets connection contact clean
- DC offset adjustment (if possible)
- DC bias/idle current adjustment
- Final test/check (test playback audio for at least 30 minutes)
Flat Rate Fee
Our amplifier service fee is a flat rate for all amplifiers. ALL amplifiers undergo the standard service procedures. The majority of additional faults are also covered for repair by the flat rate fee. Expensive components such as power transformers or complete component overhauls such as a re-cap (replacing all of the electrolytic capacitors) are not included and will incur additional parts & labour cost.
